What
is automatic voltage stabilizer? |
|
|
|
Stabilizer
is the Automatic Voltage regulator. It regulates the output power.
It produces the output in between 190V to 240V for your appliance
whether the Input Voltage is as low as 140V or as high as 280V. |

What
is the function of Automatic voltage stabilizer? |
|
|
|
Automatic
voltage stabilizers are an effective solution to voltage fluctuation
problems. They are designed to current a wide range of Input Fluctuations
to maintain specified output voltage. The output voltage waveform
is completely distortion free and the regulation is unaffected by
the load power factor. |

How
can I protect the appliance from high voltage risk? |
|
|
|
Your Automatic voltage stabilizer should have the
high voltage protection. If the Input is going beyond the 290VAC
and output is going beyond 250V in worst cases. The stabilizer should
sense Input and Output condition and cutoff the output supply of
the stabilizer. So In this way stabilizer protects the connected
appliances.
JET Electro's every stabilizer have the high voltage protection.

What
is the difference between manual & Automatic voltage stabilizer? |
|
|
|
In
case of manual voltage stabilizer the output is corrected by manually
i.e. if O/P voltage Increase you have to rotate the switch to make
it down and if output voltage decreases you have to rotate the switch
to make it up.
If there is sudden changes in the Input voltage, it can damage the
stabilizer. While in the automatic voltage stabilizer all the up and
down process are done by automatically with the help of electromagnetic
switches (Power relays) so that for the specified Input voltage you
get the specified output voltage. No need to make it up or down manually.

Simple
Automatic voltage stabilizers can be used for Air conditioners? |
|
|
|
No!
Absolutely No! For the Airconditioner you need the extra safety i.e.
Time delay relay. It is essential for Airconditioner or any other
power device. |

6. |
What
is Time delay relay? |
|
|
|
When
power comes or you switch on your stabilizer, the stabilizer energizes
immediately but gives it's output to power appliance / Airconditioner
after some delay i.e. after 1 or 2 minutes. This process is done by
an electromagnetic switch (Relay). So it is called the Time delay
Relay. |

How
will I select stabilizer rating for my home/office? |
|
|
|
Before selection the stabilizer you need to know
how much power you use. By taking an inventory of all the essential
electrical loads in your house / office, and doing a basic electrical
load evaluation, you can get a good idea how much power your system
needs to produce.
Second, you have to know about the power Fluctuations situations
also that means what voltage minimum / maximum you are getting from
the main A.C supply. In brief, you have to select the Input Voltage
window and the power consumption of your appliance. Jet Electro
will help you. For the suitable selection of Automatic voltage stabilizer.
